I BUILT SECOND ACT ACADEMY BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT IT IS TO START AGAIN.

I know the woman who looks capable on the outside while quietly wondering whether she will be financially okay.

I know her professionally.

And I know her personally.

For much of my career, I have worked around the practical realities that appear when relationships, money and major life decisions collide.

I spent 10 years working in family law and hold a Diploma in Law. I then spent more than 15 years in financial planning, working across superannuation, retirement, insurance, estate-planning preparation, debt, property and long-term financial decisions.

Since 2020, my work has increasingly involved helping people navigate the financial realities around divorce, consent orders and life after separation. Since 2023, I have worked in financial coaching, particularly around debt reduction, money organisation, home preparation and building financial security. I have also coached women through My Money Circles and am completing specialist divorce-recovery coaching training.

But I did not build Second Act Academy from professional experience alone.

I have experienced divorce and two property separations myself.

I know how different money feels when the decisions are suddenly yours alone.

I know the fear of wondering whether the future you planned has disappeared.

And I know that rebuilding does not happen by solving everything at once.

It happens by understanding where you stand, deciding what matters now and taking the next practical step.
